Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience. • Travel experience is required. • Experience with Epic is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend nights F/S and + day - Minimum of every other weekend Floating Requirements: - Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU / MICU / NCCU based on staffing and patient acuity. - Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. - Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed. - Flexible with floating to all units. Special Requests: - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. - Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities. - RTO required with submission, must be built into contract Preferred Skills/Experience: - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, External ventricular drain (EVD), ICP monitoring, Lumbar drains 14 days maximum time off.
