Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.Active California physical therapy license required to start the assignment.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to or at start of assignment.Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Client specifies prior outpatient caseload experience and comfort with musculoskeletal and functional treatment plans.Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, document appropriately (including goal writing and letters of medical necessity), and perform charge entry per clinic policy and payer guidelines.Experience supervising and delegating to therapy aides or assistants and participating in student clinical education preferred.No new graduates. Minimum of relevant post-licensure clinical experience is required by client.Maintain professional licensure, complete state-mandated continuing education, and adhere to discipline-specific practice act and ethical standards. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient.Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule, Monday through Friday.Full-time: 40 hours per week.Duration: 13-week assignment.Candidate must evaluate, implement, and modify treatment plans, provide discipline-specific direction for assigned patients, and complete timely documentation in the clinic's electronic medical record.
