Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care through patient assessments, nursing interventions, documentation, and coordination with the interdisciplinary care team. The RN ensures the highest standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and compassionate care throughout the rehabilitation process. Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessmentsDevelop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plansAdminister medications and treatments safely and accuratelyMonitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in conditionCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team membersMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationEducate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery goalsPromote patient safety and actively participate in quality improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsPerform other duties as assigned Additional InformationStrong interpersonal and communication skills requiredAbility to work effectively in a collaborative interdisciplinary team environmentHigh level of attention to detail in clinical documentation and patient care QualificationsEducationGraduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Nursing Diploma programExperienceMinimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferredLicensureCurrent state licensure as a Registered NurseCertificationsCPR/BLS certification requiredACLS certification preferredCRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) preferred Equal Employment Opportunity StatementPeak Rehabilitation Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
