Join us on this meaningful journey where your leadership, compassion, and clinical expertise will make a remarkable difference. More about our teamWith a total of 40 private rooms, the 61,000-square-foot facility nearly doubles the patient capacity of the existing 24-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Gainesville. The new facility features a designated wing for acquired brain injury and stroke patients, a large therapy suite with private rooms, and a variety of innovative rehabilitation equipment.Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute provides intensive nursing, physical, occupational, and speech pathology services for adults recovering from conditions such as stroke, neurological disease, brain or spinal cord injury, and other debilitating illnesses or injuries. How you'll contributeA Charge Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Provides clinical leadership and oversight of hospital operations during assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysServes as the first line of support for nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teamsEnsures safe, effective patient care and adherence to nursing standards and rehabilitation philosophyCoordinates patient admissions, staffing assignments, and unit workflowPerforms and supports accurate patient assessments, interventions, and documentationEnsures completion and updates of interdisciplinary care plansMonitors quality indicators (QIs) and supports performance improvement initiativesCommunicates and escalates clinical concerns or unusual occurrences appropriatelySupports staff education, development, and compliance with competencies and regulatory standardsAssists with staffing plans, scheduling, and management of nursing resources Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
