Regional Staffing Coordinator

Centers Health Care is seeking a Regional Staffing Coordinator to support multiple facilities across Upstate New York. This position plays a critical role in ensuring appropriate staffing levels across our network and requires extensive travel between facilities, including occasional overnight stays.DUTIES:Oversee and manage staffing operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities in Upstate NYCreate, review, and adjust employee schedules using staffing software to ensure optimal coverageEnsure all shifts are fully staffed and proactively address gaps in coverageTravel regularly between facilities to support on-site staffing needs and operational efficiencyPartner with facility leadership (Administrators, DONs, HR) to address staffing challengesTrack open positions and assist with recruitment and onboarding efforts as neededMonitor attendance, lateness, call-outs, and overall staffing trends across facilitiesManage and update timekeeping and scheduling systemsMaintain accurate records, reports, and staffing dataCommunicate effectively with staff and leadership to ensure smooth daily operationsREQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in long-term care (required)Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Upstate NY, including overnight staysStrong knowledge of staffing/scheduling systems and timekeeping platformsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environmentProfessional demeanor with strong problem-solving abilitiesTeam-oriented with a hands-on approach
