We provide a customer-led innovation lab by working closely with our customers to investigate targeted and next generation analytics projects. In doing so, the Consulting and Analytics team will define future core products for the repeatable solutions developed during customer engagements. Sensormatic has the customers, the operations, the tech, the data and now a strong Retail Consulting and Analytics team; this is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a high growth, premier team.What you will doPartner with the Global Leader of Customer Success & Consulting to drive an annual revenue attainment plan in conjunction with sales that contributes requisite gross margin targets and billable utilization measuresLead a team of consultants in achieving global Consulting & Analytics goalsProvide market insights and data trending to global marketsPartner with Marketing team to sustain and grow current media presence; focus on impact during pre-holiday and holiday seasonWork with Solutions Management (Product Management) to drive awareness and value in new product introductions and solicit advisory/consultative engagements with clients and sellersSharpen the voice of retail expertise on the team – drive consistent delivery of consultative and advisory services globallyApply knowledge of the retail industry, product and functional best practices, and related technology trends to guide the organization toward appropriate consultative solutionsEnhance the value and integrity of data and support company security policies and standardsDevelop relationships with the sales team and other project stakeholdersHow you will do itEffectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines and engage simultaneously on multiple initiativesProven ability to take care of and resolve ambiguity and to manage conflicting prioritiesOutstanding people leader with the ability to attract and retain talentExperience in resolving sophisticated business, systems, data, and program delivery challengesStrong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skillsGood interpersonal and organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with technical & non-technical partnersKnowledge of Retail and IT solutions, new technologies and emerging trendsTransparent leadership communications – ensure organization is informed up and down the organizational chain with current events and key topicsWhat we look forRequiredB.S. or Master's Degree preferred in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Science or MBAMinimum Ten (10) years of experience in a Retail operations, technology or leadership capacityMinimum two (2) years of consulting or customer-facing experienceExperience analyzing large retail data sets to distill insights from data and connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded recommendations using reporting toolsData visualization software experience (QLIK, Looker, Tableau or similar) is a plusMust be able to manage up, down, and sideways to push the team across the finish lineTravel around 10% (+/-) (May vary year to year)Who we areJohnson Controls is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
