Location: Wayland, MI Position Type: Full-Time Pay: $26.00/hour Overtime: After 40 hours – Limited Position Overview This is not a 100% driving position. Trucks are not consistently on the road 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. Drivers must be willing to assist with warehouse and yard responsibilities when delivery schedules are light. Schedule Business Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Start Time: 7:30 AM Average Hours: 8 hours per day Equipment Freightliner, automatic transmission, 28’ open deck flatbed Chevy 5500, automatic transmission, 18’ flatbed with removable stake racks Key Responsibilities Operate company flatbed trucks safely and efficiently Deliver materials to construction job sites and municipal facilities (DPW garages) Ensure loads are properly secured (strapping required) Maintain cleanliness of trucks, including removing trash from cab and washing vehicles when time permits Follow company policies, including strict prohibition of smoking or vaping inside company trucks Warehouse & Yard Duties Assist warehouse/yard manager during slow delivery periods Pull, prep, and package orders Receive incoming products and materials Perform general yard and warehouse tasks as needed Requirements CDL-B license required Experience securing open deck loads (palletized, crated materials, pipe products preferred) Willingness to operate a forklift and load own truck when required Ability to perform both driving and non-driving duties Must be comfortable working in both warehouse and delivery environments Additional Information Customers unload delivered materials at job sites or public works facilities Temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate Apply now or call Ken today!  313-388-4900 ext. 1
