Job DescriptionAramark Facilities Management is seeking a Painter with strong drywall repair experience to support operations at Kohl?s Headquarters. This role goes beyond traditional painting and requires hands-on expertise in drywall patching, repair, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing. The technician will ensure all wall and ceiling surfaces are properly prepared, repaired, and finished to a high standard prior to painting. The ideal candidate brings a balance of painting craftsmanship and drywall finishing skill, with the ability to work independently in an active corporate facility.Pay & SchedulePay Range: $21.72 ? $27.72 per hour (based on experience)Shift: 2:00 PM ? 10:00 PM (evening shift)Location Requirement: This role is based at Kohl?s Headquarters and is not accessible by public transportation. Reliable personal transportation is required.Job ResponsibilitiesPainting & Surface FinishingApply primers, paints, stains, varnishes, lacquers, and specialty coatings to walls, ceilings, and other surfacesPerform detailed surface preparation including scraping, sanding, patching, and smoothingMatch existing colors and finishes to maintain consistency across the facilityDrywall Installation & Repair (Core Requirement)Patch, repair, and replace damaged drywall surfacesPerform taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing to prepare surfaces for paintMatch existing textures and ensure seamless repairsMeasure, cut, and install drywall as neededGeneral Maintenance & ExecutionRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and project specificationsSet up and safely use ladders and scaffoldingMaintain tools, materials, and inventory for painting and drywall workSupport minor building maintenance tasks as needed (light repairs, replacements)Safety & ComplianceFollow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPEHandle and dispose of paints, compounds, and materials in compliance with regulationsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentClient & Team InteractionMaintain a professional, customer-focused approach within an active corporate environmentCommunicate effectively with team members and site leadershipRespond to service requests in a timely mannerMaintains compliance with ARAMARK standards of operation, client requirements, and business conduct policiesPerforms other related duties as assigned by leadershipQualifications3?5+ years of experience in commercial painting and drywall repairDemonstrated experience with drywall patching, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishingAbility to match textures and deliver clean, finished surfaces ready for paintExperience with common painting tools, materials, and techniquesAbility to read and interpret basic drawings, work orders, and instructionsStrong attention to detail and quality of workValid driver?s license and reliable transportation About AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
