Maintenance Worker - Kohl's HQ

Job DescriptionAramark Facilities Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at Kohl?s Headquarters. This role is designed for a well-rounded, hands-on technician who is comfortable working across a variety of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance. The ideal candidate is an independent problem solver who can identify issues, assess root causes, and take action to resolve them with minimal oversight. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and professional office environment.Pay & SchedulePay Range: $21.72 ? $27.72 per hour (based on experience)Shift: 2:00 PM ? 10:00 PM (evening shift)Location Requirement: This role is based at Kohl?s Headquarters and is not accessible by public transportation. Reliable personal transportation is required.Job ResponsibilitiesGeneral Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform routine maintenance and basic repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systemsIdentify issues, troubleshoot root causes, and implement effective solutions independentlyRespond to service requests with appropriate urgency and follow through to resolutionPlumbing & Mechanical SystemsRepair and replace fixtures such as toilets, sinks, valves, and piping componentsPerform minor piping work, including replacing sections of piping within scope of trainingElectrical SystemsPerform basic electrical work including replacing lamps, ballasts, switches, and outletsEnsure all work is completed safely and within established guidelinesHVAC SupportConduct routine HVAC maintenance including filter changes and coil cleaningSupport overall system performance through preventative maintenancePreventative Maintenance & InspectionsComplete scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset lifeInspect building systems and proactively address potential issuesOperations & DocumentationMaintain accurate work orders, logs, and maintenance recordsOrder parts and materials as needed with appropriate approvalsCoordinate with vendors or additional support teams when requiredSafety & ComplianceFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and regulatory standardsHandle tools, materials, and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelinesQualificationsRequired Qualifications3?5+ years of experience in general building maintenanceWorking knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systemsAbility to troubleshoot issues and work independently with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to read and interpret work orders and basic technical instructionsValid driver?s license and reliable transportationPreferred QualificationsExperience in corporate, campus, or commercial facilities environmentsOSHA or safety certificationsExperience with preventative maintenance programs or CMMS systemsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periodsComfortable working with tools, equipment, and ladders  About AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
