Job Summary and Qualifications As an RN Trauma Program Coordinator, you will partner with hospital and departmental leaders to ensure every trauma patient receives safe, timely, high-quality care. You’ll help guide the Trauma Program’s operations and outcomes—aligning clinical practice, data, and processes with local, state, and national standards for Trauma Center designation. Serving as the operational lead for program initiatives, you will support verification readiness, strengthen system performance, and help advance the trauma services that allow us to improve more lives in more ways. Your role will include: Coordinating and evaluating Trauma Program operations, monitoring outcomes and performance to maintain excellence and meet designation requirements Developing and overseeing reliable processes for trauma data collection, coding, scoring, validation, and registry management that support the PIPS plan Collaborating and consulting with clinicians, nursing leadership, educators, and patients across the continuum to promote consistency, communication, and high-quality care Leading and performing PIPS activities, including event identification, opportunities for improvement, action planning, and loop-closure to enhance patient safety and outcomes Providing and coordinating trauma education, training materials, and resources for hospital staff, EMS providers, and community partners Engaging and representing the Trauma Program through active participation in local, state, and national trauma organizations, committees, and professional initiatives What qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life SptBasic Cardiac Life SupportEmergency Nurse Pediatric CourNIH Stroke ScalePALS Pediatric Adv Life SuptTrauma Nursing Core Course(RN) Registered NurseAssociate Degree No Travel Required 2 years experience Required Years of Experience Benefits HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
