We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you will use clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Minimum Requirements: Current Oklahoma Pharmacist license required.Experience working as a Pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting preferred.Experience with medication reconciliation and discharge counseling required.Experience with sterile compounding, parenteral preparations, and maintaining sterile product labeling and expiration control preferred.Knowledge and experience with controlled substance handling, documentation, and regulatory compliance required.Experience participating in pharmacy quality assurance, medication use reviews, and Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee activities preferred.Clinical experience in antimicrobial stewardship and interpretation of culture results preferred.Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing management and anticoagulation dosing management preferred.EPIC electronic health record experience preferred.Strong communication skills for gathering home medication histories and performing discharge counseling required.Ability to maintain pharmacy inventory, perform monthly inspections, and manage emergency drug stock required. Assignment Details: Facility type: Hospital.Shift: Day (5x8).Assignment duration: 13 week contract.Number of positions: 1.May be required to float to other facilities as needed. The Philbrook Museum of Art and its gardens are located about 10 minutes from downtown and provide cultural programming and historic architecture for a suburban-urban leisure experience. For outdoor recreation, Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area lies roughly 10 minutes from downtown and provides over 300 acres of hiking and mountain biking trails for adventurous clinicians. The Tulsa Arts District is centrally located and offers restaurants, galleries, and live music within short walking distances, supporting an urban, walkable lifestyle. Nearby travel options include Tulsa International Airport, about a 15-20 minute drive from downtown, and interstate connections (I-44 and I-244) that provide commutes to suburban and regional destinations. Additional Role Information: Under general supervision of the Director, you will follow facility policies to ensure medication safety, inventory control, sterile preparation, controlled substance accountability, and participation in quality improvement and Pharmacy & Therapeutics activities. You will perform medication reconciliations, provide discharge counseling, support antimicrobial stewardship efforts, and document all pharmacy transactions in the electronic health record. You will participate in staff training, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities. EPIC experience is preferred. You will be expected to uphold patient and employee safety practices and facility standards of appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
