CNC Field Service Engineer

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a vital part of the service department, you will support clients by ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of CNC machine tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Job Title:Field Service Engineer Location:Hoffman Estates, Illinois Pay Range:$80,000 - $83,000 What's the Job? Provide maintenance, repair, and installation support for DMG MORI CNC machine tools on-site or via telephone. Create and update technical documentation, including reports and service records. Assist in developing, preparing, and analyzing service reports and technical data. Collaborate with Customer’s Service Engineers, offering training and support on new product lines. Build and maintain strong communication and customer service relationships, managing challenging situations professionally. What's Needed? High School diploma or GED; technical degree preferred. 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of CNC machine tools. Experience with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
