Electrical System Technician

The Electrical Testing Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards before they are delivered to customers. Their primary role is to inspect and test various types of control panels and equipment to identify quality issues prior to shipment to the customer. This role will also assist with other Field Service duties such as participating in startups on customer sites as well as service calls to our customer sites. Inspect electrical enclosures and cables against assembly prints and standards. • Document issues, review with technicians, and coach them on corrections for future success. • Capture photos of quality issues and corrections to use as learning tools for the team. • Complete and maintain both internal and external quality check sheets. • Power up panels as needed for customer-specific checks. • Maintain UL & CSA inspection standards and records where applicable and necessary. • Collaborate with technicians, project managers, engineers and leadership to reduce quality issues. *Provide electrical panel troubleshooting and testing • Train and mentor new technicians through our structured four-month training program. • Provide feedback to leadership and participate in team meetings to improve processes and celebrate successes. • Partner with customers to ensure satisfaction with quality and on-time delivery. • Assist project engineering team with commissioning and startups. • Assist with service-related calls in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. • Control costs and maintain test budgets for projects If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
