Job Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.Active Ohio Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred. Client prefers therapists with prior inpatient experience in medical-surgical, trauma, or rehabilitation populations.Experience with patient assessment, development of individualized treatment plans, discharge planning, and documentation in an EMR required.Ability to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT students as part of job duties.Demonstrated competence in safe patient handling and infection control practices.Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary team participation and patient/family education.
