Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately follow physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. Minimum Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, R (MRI) required.AHA BLS certification required.Minimum 2 years' experience performing MRI examinations in a hospital or acute care setting.Experience with GE Signa Explorer 1.5T and GE Signa Architect 3T preferred.Experience using Cerner or similar EMR preferred.Demonstrated ability to perform all MRI exams excluding cardiac and breast exams is required.Ability to work with a variety of patient types including ED, inpatient and unit-based patients.Must be a team player with effective communication skills and ability to multi-task. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital.Primary specialty: MRI Technologist, Diagnostic Imaging (MRI).Shift: Nights.Shift hours: 1900–0700.Typical schedule: Friday and Saturday nights, variable full-time with 36 guaranteed weekly hours and 36 weekend hours.Patient ratio: 1:1.Equipment on site: GE Signa Explorer 1.5T; GE Signa Architect 3T.EMR: Cerner.Call requirements: None.Float requirements: None.
