Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Minimum experience: Not a new graduate. Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required.Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy support staff and students. Participation in student education as needed.Familiarity with safe patient handling and infection control practices. Adherence to state practice act and discipline-specific professional code of conduct.Preferred: Experience working in outpatient clinic settings and competency with electronic medical record documentation.
