Network Engineer (Datacenter Operations) Level III

Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for Network Engineer (Datacenter Operations) Level III to support our NIH/CIT proposal. This position will be located in Bethesda, MD and is a remote/hybrid position. Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering optimal availability and quality regarding the network routing and switching, IP security, the wide area network servicesParticipate in daily stand ups and utilize the kanban methodology to triage and resolve incidents and problems within established SLAsAs directed by senior engineers, participate in shift lead duties to serve as “queue managers” to ensure each escalated issue is efficiently assigned, actively being worked by expediting resolution and fulfillment to meet SLAsAssist with proactive measures such as network monitoring, analysis, maintenance/patching, and documentationProvide suggestions to management on continuous improvements in regards to communications, customer understanding, tools, technology, and equipment. Qualifications: Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience8 years of relevant Network Services experience.Experience delivering optimal availability and quality regarding the network routing and switching, IP security, the wide area network servicesClearance Required: Must be able to obtain and maintain NIH/CIT Public TrustPreferred Skills and ExperienceCCNA/CCNP is desired. Experience with security is desired Posted Salary Range: USD $95,000.00 - USD $99,403.00 /Yr.
