Reporting to the Culinary Services Manager, you?ll take a hands-on approach in focusing on team development, culinary expertise, safety protocol, and client relations. The Chef Manager will manage everything from menu development and food production to staffing, scheduling, and training. They?ll also be responsible for maintaining rigorous sanitation, safety, and nutrition standards, ensuring full compliance with our company policies, OSHA requirements, and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Importantly, we want to make sure that our services are adaptable to meet the diverse needs of our resident populations, and this position will play a key role in that mission.Compensation DataCOMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $60,000.00  to $65,000.00. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with applicable law, including, but not limited to, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, the California Fair Chance Act, and the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance to the extent that those laws apply to the opportunity. Job ResponsibilitiesPatient Food Service OperationsManage daily patient food service operations in compliance with established standards and procedures.Conduct regular patient and departmental rounds to assess service quality and address opportunities for improvement.Promptly address patient and client feedback and make adjustments as necessaryLead and support patient service staff to ensure meals are accurately prepared, assembled, and delivered in a timely mannerMonitor, document, and enforce safety and sanitation compliance.Supervise tray line operations and/or room service programs to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy.LeadershipLeverage Aramark?s coaching model to engage, develop, and maximize team member performance.Recognize and reward employee contributions to build engagement and morale.Ensure individual and team performance consistently meets operational goals, service standards, and client expectations.Plan and lead daily team huddles to communicate priorities, reinforce standards, and drive accountability.Uphold safety and sanitation standards across all areas of operation.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong client and customer relationships that support partnership and business objectives.Proactively identify client needs and communicate operational updates and performance outcomes.Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Aramark?s standard service model.Continuous improvement of patient dining selection in partnership with expectation of the clientCompliance & SafetyMaintain a safe, healthy, and compliant environment for clients, customers, and employees.Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, and laws, including safety, health, wage, and hour requirementsEnsure team members are fully trained, competent, and equipped to execute their responsibilities.This is an on-site role with rotating weekendsAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.
