Trusted is seeking an experienced allied health professional for this exciting travel assignment. Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Experience: • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • Experience with Epic is required. • Trauma Level 2 experience is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process. Additional Details: RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: - Experience in a 300+ bed facility required. - Airway management devices/suctioning required: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, extubation, nasal airway suctioning, oral airway placement, oropharyngeal/suctioning, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy/suctioning. - Medication administration required: Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, inhaled Flolan, inhaled steroids, lidocaine, nitric oxide (INo), Pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, Xopenex. - Medication delivery systems: aerosol set up mask, aerosol set up trach, metered dose inhaler. - Nebulizer required: hand held, T-piece, trach collar, ultrasonic. - Oxygen therapy required: High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC). - Ventilator management: BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation. - ABG interpretation required. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Level I trauma experience preferred. - Teaching hospital experience preferred. Required Credentials: - No medical marijuana cards accepted. Preferred Credentials: - Active AARC membership preferred. - Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; actively working toward a bachelor’s degree accepted. Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Teaching hospital; may occasionally be asked to precept respiratory therapy students. - Large campus; role may require walking relatively long distances. -Parking: • Monthly parking passes available. Wear scrubs. • If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). • If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day. Shift & Scheduling: - Every third weekend. - Some holidays required. Floating Requirements: - Candidates will be expected to work in ICUs and floors. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
