Director of Nursing – Hematology/Oncology Compensation and Benefits Salary: $190,000 - $240,000 Location: Boston, MA Full-Time, Onsite No regular travel required Position Summary A leading academic medical center in Boston is seeking a Director of Nursing – Hematology/Oncology to join its leadership team. This is a high-impact role overseeing clinical operations, nursing practice, and performance across a specialized oncology service line within a mission-driven healthcare organization. Reporting to the Senior Clinical Director, the Nurse Director will provide strategic and operational oversight for nursing practice while partnering with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care. This role is focused on: Driving clinical excellence and patient outcomes Developing and implementing care standards and clinical initiatives Leading performance improvement and quality initiatives Supporting staff development and fostering a high-performing team environment Responsibilities Key Duties: Oversee all aspects of nursing operations within Hematology/Oncology Ensure adherence to clinical practice standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks Lead performance improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes Drive staff development, retention, and engagement initiatives Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, and leadership to enhance patient care delivery Qualifications Education: BSN required (Master’s preferred) Licenses and Certification: Active, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license Skills: Hematology/Oncology clinical experience 5+ years of nursing experience Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting Strong background in healthcare operations and performance improvement Ability to drive clinical, operational, and financial outcomes About Us RCM Healthcare Services’ mission is to provide opportunities for qualified candidates across medical professions.
