Senior Systems Engineer

Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer with an active Secret clearance to provide administration and tier-3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications in a Windows Active Directory environment. This position will be located in Merrifield, VA, and will be a fully onsite position. Responsibilities: Provides administration and tier 3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications in a Windows Active Directory environment, including user account management, Group Policy troubleshooting, and security infrastructure maintenance. Responsibilities include server and backup administration, SCCM and McAfee ePO management, and supporting large-scale deployments and migrations. Develops technical solutions, maintains documentation, and ensures compliance with organizational standards for security and system performance. Additional Azure administrator role:In-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of cloud computing services, which includes knowing networking, servers, databases, and software in the cloudHands-on experience with PowerShell and Office 365.Expertise PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates for deployments, updates, and maintenance tasksRunning virtual machines on the cloudCreating and managing data backupsEnsuring compliancesConfiguring archival storageExperience using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application InsightsFamiliar with Azure Policy and RBACMaintaining and implementing storage solutionsSecuring Azure solutionsThorough knowledge of networking tasks along with expertise in the Azure networking stackReducing vulnerabilities in Azure Qualifications: Bachelor's with 12+ years administration and tier 3 operational support for servers, workstations, and applications in a Windows Active Directory environment (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and ExperienceActive Secret clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.Preferred Skills and ExperienceKnowledge of CommVault backup.Must have a current REAL ID to be able to obtain required customer facility and system access      #JP #DICE #Bluestone Posted Salary Range: USD $145,000.00 - USD $165,000.00 /Yr.
