Job OverviewLead the planning and coordination of administrative and/or operational activities of substantial variety and complexity and support initiatives and projects for the Office of the President.Essential FunctionsLead end to end processes for assigned projects and events; assess and make recommendations regarding the development of operating processes, continuously update and improve processes, identify problems and recommend and implement solutions. Manage the planning and coordination of programmatic activities for the Office of the President.Provide staffing and operational support to the President at events, tours and visits.Lead the planning and execution of events hosted by the Office of the President.Coordinate all aspects of usage for the President’s suites and seating for athletic events, including scheduling, logistics and communications with stakeholders.Partner with the Sr. Director to manage the scheduling and coordination of the Office of the President student associates.Partner with the Executive Assistant and Sr. Director to assist with the coordination of use of office facilities and equipment.Assist with the reconciliation of expense statements.Interact with staff, faculty, external agencies and other university departments.Assist with the development of digital content for the President’s Office including invitations, social media collateral, and event photo distribution.Research, draft, edit and prepare documents and reports.Perform related duties based on departmental need. Required EducationBachelor's DegreeRequired ExperienceFive (5) years of related experience in higher education administrationExperience interfacing with senior executives, Donors, Board of Directors/Trustees, or high-profile individuals, including elected officialsAbility to work independently on projects, from conception to completionAdditional Qualifications ConsideredExperience working in higher education environmentWorking knowledge of university organization and administrationExperience planning for and managing eventsStrong writing skillsPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentOffice environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
