Position:Senior Quality Assurance EngineerJob Description:What You'll Be Doing:Roles and Responsibilities:Analyze existing product architecture, design hardware-to-software integration, and embedded software components integration, and integrate the build process for existing and new product families of Bluetooth and wireless speakers and headphones.Responsible for designing a robust automation framework for Mobile and Embedded Devices to incorporate from scratch:Cross-platform (Arm and x86) compatibilityOTA Firmware upgrades before test executionCollect Real-time data and device logs from connected devicesParallel test execution on multiple devices at the same timeDevelop and enhance a Python Framework and test algorithms with Appium, XCode, and Custom Embedded device communication APIs, and integrate with Jira and TestRail including:• Low-power mode for new hardware platform;OTA updates for the new products.Audio Profiles and Audio Quality;Fast Pairing, Active Noise Reduction, Spatial and Immersive Audio featuresGoogle Assistant and Alexa voice assistants supportActively participate in architecture and design discussions, followed by an analysis of the software architecture of next-generation Bluetooth speakers and headphones.Automate the advanced features/components, including inter-component and inter-module communication, using the Continuous Integration infrastructure tool – Jenkins• Analyze the needs of stakeholders and set up new deployment tools and infrastructuresWorking on ways to automate and improve Firmware development and release processesTest and examine developer-written code and analyze results for various PlatformsCollaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure that the code development follows established processes and works as intendedEvolve infrastructure-as-code to provision a Continuous Integration pipeline execution to gate stability and maturity of the future products at various Testing stagesBuild and automate test result reports for Bluetooth Audio Devices to further free up tedious manual Test report creation.Identify acceptance criteria for code paths and features, and develop Unit TestsReview validation plans, Test Cases, Test procedures, and automation scripts for wireless speakers & headphonesDerive DAR (Decision Analysis Reports) and comparisons using the feasibility studies conducted, to ATG (Advanced Technical Group) for the final decisionEnhance the Existing Automation frameworks for code coverage, coding standards, and Coding Review processes by integrating Artificial Intelligence Tools in Python FrameworksInterface with the client and offshore team for technical queries and solutions.Test failure troubleshooting, and test automation documentation.Client Communication, Weekly Status Reports, Monthly Data Preparation, and Review ProcessesResource planning, task allocation, schedule tracking, and monitoring of project deliveriesExtensively collaborate with Product engineering, QA, and support teams to deliver a solid automated platformExperienced at working effectively with a daily scrum master to lead agile teams using JIRAGained knowledge for Advanced Bluetooth features like: Multi-Stream, Multi Point, Audio Codec, BLE, Faster encryption, Random Resolvable Media access control addressManaged client communications, billing oversight, and resource planning, ensuring precise customer invoicing, resource allocation, project scheduling, and aligning development efforts with Agile methodologies (Jira, Scrum), while tracking progress through weekly status reports and monthly data reviews.What We Are Looking For:from Job Description SummaryJob ComplexityJob complexity may vary among jobs within this job level and will align with one of the job complexities listed below:(1) Incumbent has knowledge and experience in own discipline and may still be acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.  Incumbent builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of straightforward problems, and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.  A moderate level of guidance and direction is provided.(2) Incumbent has extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline, possesses strong knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of complex problems, and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
