The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from.Compensation$145k-$165K Annually | DOEResponsibilitiesResponsible for mine planning, safety, environmental matters, cost control, production and maintenance for assigned aggregate operationsManaging multiple land use contractsDocument production statistics and produce reports as requiredSupervise production operations; manage team Responsible for working closely with the aggregate sales team to ensure sales goals are metEnvironmental, OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other regulatory compliance, as required for assigned locationsResponsible for financial performance of aggregate operations to include profit and loss performance resultsAbility to locate and develop new mine site operationsDirect, coach and develop employees and ensure company policy complianceReporting responsibilities such as production statisticsEngage with local community governing agencies and associations as requiredDirect the capital and operating budget processesMaintain working relationships with all departments to ensure work objectives can be metDevelop plans to work towards improved performance and lower operating costsCommunicate with the local communityDriver of safety culture EducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or Concrete Industry Management degreeRequirements/QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience running an aggregate siteStrong communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of surveyingProject management experienceCommitment to safetyStrong computer skills - presentations and reportingProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred:Working knowledge of SAP Conditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) registration/clearance as well as ongoing alcohol and drug testing. For work that will be performed in the San Francisco area, qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for employment.
