The Senior Account Manager will lead and execute projects ensuring highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction with an emphasis on delivering projects on-time, within budget in a compliant and reliable manner. The Senior Account Manager, with exceptional packaging sourcing knowledge, will lead cross-functional teams from project onset through post implementation activities. This customer interfacing position will define scope, develop and manage metrics, ensure timely communication, identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plan. This role operates on a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the NYC office and 2 days working from home.Responsibilities:Build customer confidence and loyalty by offering superior customer service to assigned customers.Maintain a positive relationship and timely open line communication with our customers, with a strong focus on quality, transparency, and speed.Promote collaborative principles and team work to meet the needs of our customers and direct coworkers.Anticipate, assess, and communicate deviations on the leads, to develop and manage the project plan to Launch completion On Time and In Full, maintaining quality and ensuring service level.To collect and validate all the product specifications and requirements to achieve quality execution right first time.Provide technical sourcing services for packaging and tooling.Ensure project feasibility while adhering to the quality and cost targets.Be the preferred partner for our customers by supporting efforts of sales, TURNKEY ANDOR PACKAGING and Supply Chain team in providing superior service to customers.Understand the company's products, services, capabilities, processes, terms, and conditions (MOQ, Lead Times, Scrap Factors, etc.). Ensure timely proactive communication and professional representation of Element Packaging when interacting with customers and internal stakeholders. Establish and maintain effective and positive customer relationships.Operate as primary contact for the customer for all development and execution needs. Work with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure achievement of meeting the project milestones, quality, and shipment of orders OTIF. Practice and have a teamwork mindset.Manage timely and effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders for all Sales related activities:Take full ownership of sourcing based on briefs shared by Sales or the customer.Manage communication with oversea and domestic suppliers to ensure sourcing is efficient and correct.Project Development and Milestone StatusPush customer for feedback to ensure timing of project and execution is on. Take full ownership of quote creation to ensure desired margin is being met.Manage quality, cost, and timeline throughout all phases of project development and execution until order is shipped. Gather and manage data integrity of all project details for new development, Salescustomer inquiry.Track and manage adherence to internal and external milestones, such as receiving artwork files, requesting proofs, confirming timing on pre-production samples, etc. Support the Sales department, Operations, and Turnkey andor Packaging Team in leading the project process in all phases of the project ensuring adherence to timing, quantity, quality, and COGS targets.Ensure the highest level of proactive communication with our customer, Sales, and the Project team during the turnkey andor packaging process.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical fieldMinimum of five (5) years of packaging sourcing experience and project management experience in a CosmeticOTCBeauty environmentPMP preferredStrong knowledge of cosmetic packaging components and supply chainExcellent communication skills, able to effectively manage global, cross-functional teams.Creative problem solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
