Pediatric PulmonologySleep Faculty (Academic Faculty-Open Rank) The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Childrens Wisconsin (CW) has a position available for a full-time pediatric pulmonary and sleep physician to join its well-established group of eleven physicians and six advanced practice nurses. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a collegial academic medical center and work in an established Childrens Hospital ranked as one of the best in the US. The Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine is consistently named among the top pediatric pulmonary programs by US News & World Report. Position Highlights: The Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, and research. Highlights of the program include: An accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center providing comprehensive care for more than 200 patients. A fully equipped Pediatric Sleep Disorders Center featuring a state-of-the-art, 8-bed sleep laboratory accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Robust clinical programs focused on asthma, technology-dependent children, apnea and bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), pulmonary hypertension, bronchoscopy, and pulmonary function testing. Active participation in multidisciplinary programs addressing aerodigestive disorders, neuromuscular disease, sickle cell disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Schedule: Full-Time Salaried (Exempt) Division of Pediatric Pulmonology: Division staff members include pulmonary nurses and research coordinators, as well as excellent nutritional, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, psychology, and social service support. We have a pediatric pulmonary fellowship program, and our sleep faculty take an active role in the ACGME-sponsored sleep fellowship. The Divisions faculty is involved in clinical research as a TDN site through the CF Foundation and within the Childrens Research Institute (CRI) of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin. Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin has a pediatric Translational Research Unit to facilitate clinical and translational research. Qualifications Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent)from an accredited institution. Board certification (or eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology. State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin. Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist. Why MCW?
