Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an expanding Family Medicine practice located in Venice, Florida. Venice is located in Sarasota County. With 14 miles of beaches, Venice offers plentiful shopping, family-friendly saltwater adventures and Old Florida charm. Venice was named a Top Five Suburb for City-Like living and is one of USA Todays 10 Best Must-Visit Beaches in the South. Founded in 1925, Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is a regional medical center offering Southwest Floridas greatest breadth and depth of care, with more than 2,000 physicians and advanced practice providers and nearly 2 million patient visits a year across its network of care. As Sarasota Countys largest employer, the health system includes two full-service hospitals in Sarasota and Venice, a freestanding ER in North Port and Lakewood Ranch, and a comprehensive network of outpatient centers, urgent care clinics and physician practices that stretch from Bradenton to North Port. Position Highlights: Join a well-established team of 4 Family Medicine Physicians Full-time, clinic-based position No call coverage, no evenings, and no weekend hours Convenient single office location Monday through Friday schedule, 7:15 AM - 4:30 PM Family Medicine or Internal Medicine experience preferred Requirements: Current AANPANCC or NCCPA certification required and must also have an active license by the State of Florida by the time of hire.
