Job Overview:We're looking for a skilled Die Cast Supervisor for our 2nd shift to lead our off-shift production and maintenance activities. As a key leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing manufacturing, production, maintenance and material planning, ensuring seamless operations while championing safety, lean practices, quality control, and workforce productivity.Responsibilities:Manage facilities operations for second shift while coordinating with first and third shifts to ensure products are produced to the highest quality standards, meeting cost, and safety guidelines while achieving customers' requirements.Ensure that the safety, quality, and operations systems are in place to accomplish these goals.Familiarity with die cast machines, including removing and replacing die casting dies, and knowing the necessary adjustments on machines in preparation for productionCoordinate maintenance team to ensure closure of maintenance tickets and preventive maintenance (PM) for machines and building.Hands on position requires production of quality die castings that meet customer specifications and run within set control limitsVerify setups per process sheets on a daily basis within the first hour of shiftDelegate and supervise the work of all employees in the die cast departmentStart all daily production meetings with proper KPIs ready before hand and employees assigned to each stationInstruct new employees on safe work habits as well as model safe behavior.Maintain a clean and orderly work areaObserve all company safety and OSHA guidelines and proceduresAny other duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
