Job DescriptionTitle: Sales Manager - Service SalesPioneer the next generation of innovation. Join us and you'll develop your skills and expertise to the very highest levels, working in an international environment for a company known the world over for its brilliance.Key Accountabilities:Identify and manage after-sales sales business opportunities for Distributors/Dealers/End-Users supporting the Stationary and Mobile Business UnitsDevelops and maintains close working relationship with Distributors/Dealers personnel for the purpose of maintaining and increasing penetration of after sales products.Provide responsive assistance supporting Distributors/Dealers/End-Users on requests for after sales product information.Contact and Advise OEM's, Distributors/Dealers/End-Users in prospecting for new sales representing the entire mtu after sales product line.Ensure that parts inventory levels are sufficient (ex. at Distributors/Dealers) to provide quality sales and after sales support to customers.Identify new business opportunities for mtu after sales products, develop and execute proposals, and follow through to make the sale and/or development of a new product concept.Collect forecasts and develop business cases for future mtu after sales products and services.Establishes achievable but challenging short- and long-term goals designed to promote and increase market penetration in the after sales markets we serve.Track and report on industry trends, business conditions and account status to develop future products and sales.Identify and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.Monitor, implement and evaluate mtu's procedures, policies and agreements to increase customer awareness and compliance.Prepare and present professional presentations to customers, management and staff.Maintain knowledge of mtu products, applications, after sales systems, procedures and policiesAttend trade shows and events and reports activities.Promote Distributor/Dealer/End-User training with regards to after sales parts topics, systems, products, programs and promotions.Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.Perform special projects as required.Basic Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Engineering field and 3 years of experience in sales and service management in the heavy equipment, power generation, marine or offshore industry; or 7 years of experience in sales and service management in the heavy equipment, power generation, marine or offshore industryStrong technical knowledge of diesel enginesStrong experience in the U.S. heavy equipment, power generation, marine or offshore industryStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions and develop new business.Strong negotiation and interpersonal skillsStrong ability to conduct a financial analysis.Strong organizational, planning and follow up skills.Self-starter with the ability to work extended periods without supervision.Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skillsStrong leadership skills, especially in addressing issues that cross internal departments.Proficient with PC and MS Office SuiteAbility and willingness to travel domestic & international on short notice, up to 75% of the time.Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of mtu products or comparable diesel products and their applicationsKnowledge of the marine industry and the corresponding OEMsRolls-Royce is a Military Friendly Employer.
