Our growing firm is seeking a senior attorney with Big Firm experience who can handle a diverse caseload across several industries, work independently, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. Reach out to us today if this opportunity sounds ideal for you.Compensation:$185,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and lawsPrepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responsesCounsel associates to resolve or prevent conflictsPerform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motionsArgue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedingsQualifications:Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skillsPrior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitrationBachelor's degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision7 - 10 years of experience as a litigation attorney for business, construction, or real estate litigationAt least 10 jury trials as first chair or leading attorneyAbout CompanyAt San Miguel Attorneys, P.
