Full time - HVAC Installation Technician :Stark County, OH areaMonday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm$25-$35 / per hour, plus benefits.Job Description:An HVAC installation technician is responsible for installing new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial buildings, which includes tasks like reading blueprints, assembling components, running lines, connecting electrical wiring, and testing the system to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations; they may also assist with removing old systems and performing basic maintenance checks.Two or more years of experience installing residential HVAC is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep a professional appearance are also preferred!Key responsibilities of an HVAC installation technician:Installation:Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately install HVAC systems.Install indoor and outdoor units, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, coils, and ductwork.Run refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and drain lines according to specifications.Properly connect and seal ductwork to ensure efficient airflow.Mount and secure equipment according to building codes.System Testing and Troubleshooting:Perform initial system start-up and testing to verify proper operation.Identify and troubleshoot any installation issues during testing.Adjust system settings to optimize performance.Customer Interaction:Explain system functionality and operation to customers.Address customer concerns and answer questions about the installation process.Maintenance and Safety:Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on newly installed systems.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when handling refrigerants and electrical components.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Required skills and qualifications:Technical knowledge: Understanding of HVAC principles, system components, and electrical wiring.Physical ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and climb ladders.Problem-solving skills: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems.Attention to detail: Ensure accurate installation and adherence to building codes.Customer service skills: Effectively communicate with customers and address their concerns.If you're interested in applying for this position, please email your resume to
