Instead, you will be the engine behind getting homes ready to build. Your primary focus will be pre-construction coordination, including lot & land acquisitions, site readiness, entitlements, budgeting, and permitting. This is an in-office position at our headquarters in Mobile, Alabama.What We Offer:Competitive base salary ($50K-$60K+ depending on experience)Performance-based bonuses and incentives ($20K+ annually)Paid time off and health benefitsVehicle stipend or mileage reimbursementOpportunities for growth in a dynamic, high-impact environmentCompensation:$70,000 - $80,000+ yearlyResponsibilities:Analyze lot and land leads for viability for new construction projectsPerform pre-purchase due diligence, site evaluations, and lot selectionCoordinate entitlements, rezoning, and subdivision applicationsWork with engineers, architects, and surveyors on site plans and layoutsApply for and manage permits and inspections with local municipalitiesAssist with budgeting and pre-construction cost estimatesSelect and adjust house plans to fit site specs, market needs, and code complianceCoordinate vendors, utilities, and subcontractors to prepare sites for vertical constructionTrack timelines and approvals, and regularly report to leadership on project readinessEnsure compliance with all applicable building codes and zoning lawsQualifications:What We're Looking For:3+ years of experience in residential construction, land development, or pre-construction coordinationKnowledge of permitting, zoning, and land development processesAbility to read and interpret site plans, house plans, and surveysStrong communication and follow-up skills with contractors, engineers, and government agenciesSelf-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects at onceProficiency in technology tools like BuilderTrend, Procore, Contractor Foreman, or other project management platforms is a plusAbout CompanyThe IRBY Group is a family owned, fast paced real estate development and investment firm.
