Mechanic DescriptionResponsible for the repair and maintenance of machines in the rental fleet.Work ranges in scope from general repairs and maintenance, up to more complex repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems and diesel enginesTroubleshoot, diagnose and complete all required repairs on heavy equipment and specialized attachmentsMechanic Requirements/Responsibilities2 years experienceDiagnose electrical problems and perform mechanical repairs and maintenance to various types of equipmentPerform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, oil changes, and failure analysisTroubleshoots and repairs hydraulic systems, electronics, and other componentsCreate work orders on repairs and services providing legible and accurate information for work performedCoordinate with supervisor to prioritize work accordinglyPerform other job responsibilities as assigned by managementMust have own toolsBe able to read, write, and speak EnglishMaintain a clean, safe and organized work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulationsAssist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are lowMay be required to weld, cut, paint, and/or grind various raw building materials.Observe and follow all company safety rules and policiesPossess a clean driving record.Valid Driver's LicenseAble to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)Capable of accomplishing task independently without direct supervisionComputer literate with the ability to process informationJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:10 hour shiftCandidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.Monday to FridayWork Location: In personEmployment TypeFull-time
