Gastroenterology Physician

Specialty: MD - Gastroenterology Start Date: 8/1/2024 Contract Length: 6+ months Shift Details: 8a-5p. 1. Full time or close to FT would be Some weekend/weeknight call required Schedule: 1-2 weeks each month and call Work Details: Support staff: RNs, CNAs, imaging staff, APPs all available on site. Hospitalist available 24/7 for admissions Amount of coverage needed per month: 1-2 weeks Patients per day: 10-15. Typically 9-13 procedures done at Endoscopy In clinic consults are scheduled either for 45 min or 60 and follow ups are 30 min EMR: Cerner Special procedures: MUST be able to perform ERCP and EUS. Upper and lower conscious sedation mandatory Skills required: Inpatient required. ERCP/EUS for inpatient and outpatient preferred. Proficient in just general GI is ok if candidate pool is slim. Most of our advanced cases are cancer related, so proficiency here preferred Practice Setting: • Hospital
