 Outreach and Training SupervisorAlliance For Children is the children's advocacy center serving all of Tarrant County. Since 1992, over 69,000 children have benefitted from Alliance For Children's teamed investigations and coordinated approach. Alliance For Children is a nonprofit organization that operates child-friendly centers located in Arlington, Fort Worth and Hurst. It is our mission to protect Tarrant County children from child abuse through teamed investigations, healing services, and community education. Alliance For Children is a fully accredited member of the National Children's Alliance®, a membership association of over 700 Children's Advocacy Centers and is a founding member of Children's Advocacy Centersâ„¢ of Texas. Please visit our website at  for more information. Outreach and Training SupervisorPosition available with Alliance For Children for an Outreach and Training Supervisor. The Outreach and Training Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of Alliance For Children's training for our MDT partners and community. This includes coordinating internal training and overseeing child abuse prevention community programs for children and adults. This position also serves as part of the team overseeing all child abuse prevention community awareness, working to engage community members in the mission and work of Alliance For Children. Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in social work, education or related field preferred.Minimum of two years' experience working in the social services field, education and/or non-profit organization required.Must have valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance if driving for agency purposes.Must successfully complete annual criminal and civil background checks.Able to maintain confidentiality and present in a positive, professional manner at all times.Regular and reliable attendance.Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to the mission of Alliance For Children. Job Duties/Essential Functions:Supervision of community educators to ensure successful provision of child abuse prevention education for both children and adults in Tarrant County. Working closely with school districts to coordinate efforts of bringing prevention education to children in Tarrant County. Maintaining and organizing education calendar for both adult and children's prevention education effortsCreating and implementing an on-going strategic plan to promote Alliance For Children's prevention and awareness efforts in the community. Working with PR/Marketing personnel to bring prevention education to the community. Representing Alliance For Children by serving on collaborative committees within the community.Scheduling, preparing and delivering adult prevention education to area organizations and community groups.Deliver children's education curriculums in the absence of community educator.Coordinating with necessary staff and departments to oversee Child Abuse Prevention Month efforts.Oversee MDT training efforts by working with staff and partners to evaluate MDT training needs and implement a training schedule.Support other departments as needed. Additional tasks as assigned by Training and Team Relations Director.    Physical Requirements:Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, kneel and twist on an intermittent and sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead. Ability to operate a telephone and computer. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
