Join our team!Shift: TBDPay: $72-$76KBeenfits: Medical, Dental, Merit Pay, AD & DTemp to Hire Job Purpose: Responsible for ensuring vendor compliance with clients minimum vendor requirements for food safety, posting required documentation in GOLD, researching and updating state food code regulations, maintaining public healthinspection reports and supporting Quality Assurance Department projectsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:ï‚· Research and maintain State level Food Code regulations to include requirements for Distribution demo crew members, weights and measures, retail unit pricing and general public health programsï‚· Review, follow up and file distribution public health inspection reportsï‚· Have cheese inventory 100% accurateï‚· Maintain finished goods inventory 100%ï‚· QA programï‚· Checking dock temperatures and maintaining high quality throughout the DCï‚· Ensure current, accurate PSIs are uploaded for each Item Document file in GOLDï‚· Input relevant PSI information into Trader Joe's Allergen Databaseï‚· Posting and tracking of annual 3 rd party vendor audits in GOLDï‚· Flag non-complaint vendors for Quality Assurance follow upï‚· Track daily warehouse product rejections and save in QA share fileï‚· Maintain FDA vendor tracking sheet and send to FDA compliance team quarterlyï‚· Assist with Quality Assurance special projectsMinimum Requirements:ï‚· Strong data entry and computer skillsï‚· Excellent time management and organizational skillsï‚· Ability to operate and be certified on all warehouse equipmentï‚· Ability to communicate effectively orally to resolve issues with other parties throughout the DCï‚· Understanding of common distribution practices throughout the DCï‚· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekendsComputer Skills:ï‚· Strong computer skills required; i.e., All Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word, Power Point)Reasoning Ability:ï‚· Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
