SummaryMake sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Per S탩 Group is seeking a Sinker EDM Field Service Technician for our client, North Americaí¢â‚¬â„¢s premier supplier and servicer of lasers, EDMs, press brakes and fabrication and milling equipment.  Founded in 1978, our client has more than 430 employees in North America and is a part of a global corporation, serving industries including aerospace, automotive, mold and die, job shops, medical and energy.  In this role, you will utilize customer communication skills, and your mechanical and electrical knowledge to repair, troubleshoot, modify, and test complex technical problems on Machining products. This is a 100% travel position, Monday through Friday. Travel is primarily throughout the US but can be International in some cases as well. Our clientí¢â‚¬â„¢s services are provided on-site at the customerí¢â‚¬â„¢s facilities and via telephone if the situation permits. Responsibilities  Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repairExamine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as neededDiagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephoneCommunicate professionally and effectively with customersEffectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyzeDocument in detail product problems and resolutionsPreferred Skills and Expertise  2-year Electronic or Technical Degree, or experience equivalentWorking knowledge of how to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagramsExperience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problemsSkilled in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (Dial Indicators, Micrometers, and Calipers)Skilled in Electrical measurement and inspection techniques. (Voltmeter, Oscilloscope and other measurement equipment)CNC programming skills a plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsExtensive travel necessary, current valid driversí¢â‚¬â„¢ license requiredPandoLogic.
