To learn more, visit . Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in cattle feed sales to dairy operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of dairy nutrition, livestock management, and relationship-based sales. The Sales Rep will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with dairy producers, understanding their nutritional needs, and recommending appropriate feed solutions from our product line.The ideal candidate is self-driven, comfortable working independently in the field, and capable of providing on-farm support and expertise. This position combines technical knowledge with sales acumen to help dairy producers achieve optimal herd health and performance.About the Role:The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in driving the success of our retail operations by providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive shopping experience. This position is responsible for understanding customer needs, recommending products, and ensuring that sales targets are met consistently. The Sales Associate will also maintain the presentation of the sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-stocked and organized. By building strong relationships with customers, the Sales Associate contributes to customer loyalty and repeat business. Ultimately, this role is vital in achieving the company's sales goals and enhancing the overall brand reputation.Key Responsibilities Primary Duties Build and manage a portfolio of dairy customers within the assigned territory.Assess herd nutritional needs and recommend appropriate feed programs.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, nutritional trends, and industry best practices.Coordinate with nutritionists, veterinarians, and internal teams to ensure customer success.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.Submit accurate and timely sales data to support dispatching and ensure smooth delivery logistics.Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall regional growth.Required Skills & Experience Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clientsSolid understanding of the sales process and sales support functionsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsExperience in dairy nutrition, livestock feed sales, or a related agriculture field.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage a flexible scheduleHigh attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic work environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role that involves strategic planning, organization, and proactive problem-solvingValid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.Skills:The required skills of communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for engaging with customers and understanding their needs effectively.
