Learn more at and join us to own your future.Job Overview:We are looking for a hands-on Design Engineer with a strong background in hydraulic and mechanical systems to lead all engineering efforts for our growing pump manufacturing operation. In a small, fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for the full design lifecycle, from concept through production, as well as supporting troubleshooting, testing, and product improvement initiatives. This is a high-impact, autonomous role reporting directly to the General Manager.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and improve hydraulic and mechanical pump systems and componentsProduce and manage engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentationLead prototype builds and coordinate with manufacturing on assembly processesActively participate in hands-on troubleshooting, testing, and product validationSupport customer-specific customizations and respond to technical inquiriesMaintain compliance with relevant engineering standards and specificationsContinuously identify opportunities to improve product performance and manufacturabilityCollaborate closely with production, sales and marketing teamsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, or a related field3-7 years of relevant experience in pump design, hydraulics, or fluid systemsStrong knowledge of pump systems, hydraulics, mechanical designProficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor)Comfortable working in a small-team environment and taking ownership of engineering functionsStrong problem-solving skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindsetEnjoys hands-on work"”must be enthusiastic about assembling, testing, and troubleshooting pumpsTravel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:OnsiteWhat We Offer:At Ingersoll Rand, we embrace a culture of personal ownership "” taking responsibility for our company, our communities, and our environment, as well as our individual health and well-being.
