This is a part-time position in our 30-bed Assisted Living Facility. This position is open right now if that sounds like you!Compensation:$17.50 hourlyResponsibilities:Control the grill and cook the food in accordance with the directions on the meal order slips or in verbal instructionsAdhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is servedWash, cut, dice, chop, and slice food items to stock prep stationsUse thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving itSweep, mop, clean countertops, and wipe down all used surface areas at the end of each shiftKeep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rulesCook meals as posted on weekly menu and prepare alternative mealsQualifications:Must have excellent time-management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkersCandidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirementsPrior fast food or quick service restaurant industry experience is highly desiredPossesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detailAbout CompanyStuarts Draft Retirement Community is a locally owned and operated senior living community in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.
