This includes leading activities with other sourcing colleagues across the globe, analysts, and project teams to secure contractual agreements to meet business needs, lead supplier simplification, execution on activities to optimize productivity, quality & fulfillment through strategic supplier relationships. This position will require a close partnership with Operations, Engineering and Corporate functions to deliver upon the following.This is an onsite position at our Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, FL.What You'll Be DoingCollaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to meet cost objectives, provide cost alternatives, and support Buy/Make decisions through detailed cost analysis modelingLead direct sourcing efforts for engineered casting parts, plastic parts, and machined components while proactively identifying new suppliers to enhance service, delivery, and overall valueDrive the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives for direct materials and services, leveraging Danfoss' consolidated spend, standardization, and best industry practicesLead and manage cross-functional teams, guiding strategy alignment discussions and implementing sourcing processes and policies across multiple categories and locationsManage all aspects of supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, agreement execution, and performance management to ensure optimal Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)Provide timely feedback and resolution of quality or component issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective/Preventative Actions (CAPA), ensuring containment and long-term solutionsPrepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements, and generate detailed reports on cost savings, price changes, and sourcing performance metricsWhat We're Looking ForEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or FinanceMinimum of 10 years solid strategic sourcing, supply chain or commercial experience including 6 years managing one/several commodity independentlyProven ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans within the strategic sourcing process across multiple business units and global locationsSkilled in data-driven, fact-based negotiations that deliver measurable value and long-term supplier partnershipsExpertise in end-to-end contract development, negotiation, and supplier relationship managementStrong business and financial acumen with a demonstrated track record of leading teams, setting strategic direction, and driving organizational changeExceptional leadership skills with a global mindset and deep understanding of the market forces affecting both internal operations and supplier ecosystemsPreferred Qualifications:C.P.M. or C.P.I.M. and/or PMP certification is a pluTechnology Savvy with a strong working knowledge of MS Office Applications, specifically Excel, power BIWhat You'll Get from UsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:Bonus systemPaid vacationFlexible working hourPension planPersonal insuranceOpportunity to join Employee Resource GroupsState of the art virtual work environmentEmployee Referral ProgramThis list does not promise or guarantee any particular benefit or specific action.
