Our mission is to provide quality, affordable housing options while fostering a sense of belonging and pride within our neighborhoods.*Summary*We're seeking a highly skilled and qualified corporate lawyer who aligns with our vision for the company. As a corporate attorney, the candidate will impart legal counselling that abides by all the regulatory laws set in place. This position will have to know the ins and outs of corporate law in order to uphold the company's reputation on a legal front. We're looking for a corporate lawyer who is an expert in negotiation and communication and can provide sound legal advice even in their sleep. The candidate should have a customer-oriented bent of mind and should gladly go the extra mile to deliver the best legal support there is.*Role Objective** Expertise in commercial law, corporate and business law* Provide legal advice that complies with regulatory laws, keeping in mind the ethos of the company* Ensure that the company avoids all kinds of legal risks and violations with the right corporate law services* Evaluate ongoing and potential projects for the company and ensure that it adheres to corporate law stipulations* Continually learn the dynamic changing laws and regulations of the corporate law on a multi-state scale*Responsibilities*:* Curate and review legal paperwork and documentation that protect and support the company's interests while adhering to corporate compliance laws* Improvise and oversee the company policies on legal affairs periodically in collaboration with established In-House Counsel* Guide the ownership team and stakeholders on the legal directions to take* Undertake and perform in-depth legal research for partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and other transactions*Qualifications** Bachelor's degree in law, whether it is LLB or BA.LLB from a recognized university* Registered with the American Bar Association* Proficiency and fluency in English* Strong analytical and negotiation skills* Comprehensive understanding of corporate law* Ability to work collaboratively as a team*Preferred skills and Qualifications** LLM or specialization in company law, or corporate law* Prior experience working as a corporate lawyer* Degree from a national law schoolIf you are passionate about making a difference in the community through your legal expertise, we invite you to apply for the Litigation Attorney position at Harmony Communities, Inc.
