Industrial Maintenance Technician ($30 an hour)

*Company seeks to hire a F/T Industrial Maintenance Technician*Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.*Responsibilities:*· Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components, power transmission components, hydraulic systems, light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or any other commercial property items.· Install and setup of manufacturing equipment.· Be able to follow Manufactures recommendations for Preventive Maintenance on a variety of machines.· Locate root cause of problems by using sound troubleshooting methods to ensure that permanent repairs can be made to minimize costly downtime.· Use all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, high lift, and other maintenance equipment.· Maintain clear communication with supervisor and with production regarding equipment status of repair, and release to production.· Provide proper record keeping, documentation, and information for, but not limited to, Machine, equipment and facility files.· Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.· Operate and/or maintain a variety of operating units.· Must be familiar with the scope and limitation of the state licensing requirements in Millwright and Electrical work. Preferred PLC knowledge.· Must provide own tools sufficient for job responsibilities. Further details upon hiring.· Repair and lubricate machines and equipment· Keep machine tools in clean and working order· Fill out inspection first article and in process reports· Report machine issues· Lead and manage LOTO system· Manage maintenance software program· Ability to research and price comparison for specific parts and equipment needs for purchasing· Ability to set up, tear down, and rebuild machinery and equipment· Communicate, support and reinforce the values of the organization professionally· Work in a team environment and be supportive of all company initiatives· Maintain a safe and organized work area· Other duties as assigned.*Skills:*· Basic understanding of AC/DC power· Detail oriented with strong work ethic· Able to take direction with a willingness to learn· Ability to multi-task*Principal Responsibilities:*· Exhibit superior safety practices every day evidenced by outstanding housekeeping at all times.· Extend treatment to all other employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.· Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.· Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.*Qualifications and Education Requirements*· High School Diploma/GED· A minimum of 2 years industrial equipment maintenance experience· Must be safety minded and be able to follow safety guidelines· Must be able to adhere to company policies and procedure· Ability to communicate with people and follow verbal and written instruction· Valid driver's license*Schedule:*Full Time:Shift: Day Shift (6:00a.m. 4:30p.m.)Typical work week is Monday - Thursday occasional Friday's when needed.*Physical Demands:*(The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform).* Work in standing position 10 hours/shift* Considerable arm movement* Exposure to hot environments when assisting with metal pouring operation* Work requires close attention to lifting and handling of medium weight parts up to 50 lbs.*Work Environment:*(The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
