This role involves working in the field, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunication systems and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fiber splicing loose tube/ribbon, testing, trouble shooting,cabling, and network infrastructure, demonstrating proficiency in both technical skills and safety practices.*Duties** Read prints and schematics.* Mid sheath experience.* Building Cases* Perform fiber splicing and installation of telecommunication cabling.* Troubleshoot and maintain computer networking systems, including WAN and LAN configurations.* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete construction tasks.* Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation and maintenance of network infrastructure.* Climb to elevated work areas as needed while adhering to safety protocols.* Conduct low voltage installations and ensure compliance with industry standards.* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.*Skills** Proficient in field service operations related to telecommunication systems.* Experience EXFO and OTDR Traces.* Strong knowledge of fiber splicing techniques and telecommunication cabling practices.* Familiarity with computer networking concepts including WAN, LAN, Ethernet, and telephony systems.* Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.* Understanding of IT infrastructure components and their integration into existing systems.* Capability to read schematics for electrical installations and network setups.* Experience in climbing for elevated installations or maintenance tasks is preferred.* Electrical experience is a plus, enhancing the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
