Ozark Aeroworks LLC (OZARK) is the OZARK Model T53 Engine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). OZARK also provides full maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO)"”including fuel accessories, machining, and welding capabilities, providing for fast shop component repairs. The OEM and MRO businesses are collocated in our Springfield, MO facility. OZARK's primary MRO product lines include the T53 Engine, T53 fuel controls and governors, and Rolls-Royce M250 Engine (specifically the C47, C30, and C20 models). This position is a shared resource with a direct report to the Director, Sales and Customer Support.*JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE*The Contracts Manager will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of our business and participate at its operational level. This role will be responsible for maintaining the repository of all contracts for OAW. This includes being accountable for their custody and control and keeping them current. The Contracts Manager will be an essential part of the team, providing daily support to and collaborating with the Supply Chain, Customer Support, Engineering, Legal, and Leadership teams.It is expected that this position will be actively engaged in the following:*PRIMARY ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES*· Participate in government contract meetings with key stakeholders providing input and taking minutes (sales, marketing, engineering, ops, etc)· Assist with negotiating pricing and terms and conditions with entities including but not limited to service centers and networks, customers, supply chain, International Governments, and Military contracts· Assist with managing supply chain agreements terms and conditions.· Tracking and managing expirations dates, amendments, renewals, etc for all OAW contracts· Work with OAWs leadership team to assist with drafting, developing, review, and implementation of any new contracts needed.· Work directly with in-house and outside counsel for final review and approval of contracts.· Tracking and updating Tech Data Agreements with customers around the world· Responsible for performing/assisting with external audits for compliance· Other duties as assigned*KEY OBJECTIVES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES*· Understand and abide by FAA regulations· Creating a process for tracking renewals, expirations, etc· Coordinate with multiple levels of leadership and departments· Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and customers· Make recommendations on policies and procedures to support continuous improvement.· Develop and present reports on contracts status to key stakeholders· General knowledge on industry standards and expectations regarding terms and conditions*KEY SUCCESS ATTRIBUTES*· Proficient in writing, editing, and proofing· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Strong work ethic, analytical skills, high level of accuracy, and detail-oriented.· Seen as a team player and works well with others respective of position.· Provide knowledge input and insight into contract development· High sense of ownership and accountability· Unequivocal commitment to the highest standards of personal and business ethics, code of conduct and company policies.*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** Education:* Bachelors degree or experience equivalent* Experience:* 5 years experience in writing and reviewing contracts* US Government Contract background, paralegal, former military contracts strongly preferred* Project management experience preferred* Experience in softwares preferred* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and Content Authoring Software.*OTHER** Must have valid authorization to work in the United States.* Pre-Employment Verifications: Must be able to pass background check and drug test* Working Conditions:o Will be exposed to office, shop, and non-climate controlled environments. Work environment includes office, MRO shop, clean line, warehouse, and other operational areas.* Physical Demands:o While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, repetitive use of hands, may sit or stand for several hours at a time and long exposure to computer monitors.
