As a Program Coordinator II, you'll be the behind-the-scenes powerhouse helping faculty get hired, promoted, and supported"”while keeping systems running smoothly and events on point.Why You'll Love ItYou'll be the go-to person who keeps things running smoothly.You'll get to wear multiple hats like organizer, communicator, tech whiz, and event planner.You'll work with a team that's collaborative, supportive, and genuinely excited about what they do.You'll turn spreadsheets and systems into success stories"”and maybe even make SharePoint look good.You'll help make faculty feel supported and celebrated.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND four years of program coordination or closely related experience.ResponsibilitiesAffiliate Faculty PortalManages the affiliate faculty hire process, including initiating pre-employment actions, creating account credentials, and processing action items.Serves as a primary contact for the affiliate faculty portal, responding to inquiries and providing guidance on trainings, tools, and program resources.Develops and updates training materials and delivers training.Maintains and analyzes affiliate portal records, databases, and usage statistics to support reporting and strategic planning.Coordinates strategic communications and marketing efforts, participates in departmental meetings and collaborates with Faculty Affairs leadership on program development and confidential matters.Affiliate Faculty PromotionImplement and oversee a two-cycle process for affiliate faculty promotions.Manage all aspects of stakeholder communication.Document creation and distribution.Data management and distribution.Faculty HiringAssists in the oversight of College of Medicine faculty hiring and serves as main point of contact/backup when faculty hiring staff lead is out.Responds to inquiries regarding hiring processes and procedures from school and university-level stakeholders.Coordinates and tracks faculty hiring processes for the collegeSharePoint and Event PlanningMaintains department SharePoint site.Annual faculty promotion event.Faculty Accelerator Series.Attends Faculty Affairs office meetings as needed.Supervise student worker as available and needed.Why Texas A&M University?As a Program Coordinator II at Texas A&M, you will play an important role in:Supporting faculty success through effective management of hiring, promotions, and training processes.Improving operational efficiency by streamlining and enabling data-driven decisions.Enhancing faculty engagement through event coordination and strategic communications.Contributing to a positive work environment by mentoring student workers and fostering collaboration.We are a prestigious university with strong traditions, core values , and a community of caring and collaboration.
