Plant Maintenance Mechanic (2nd-Shift)

*Summary*Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.The purpose of a Maintenance Mechanic A is to maintain, diagnose, repair, rebuild, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, and install equipment within and around the facilities so as to keep the production operational and have zero loss of production chargeable to maintenance.*We are hiring for 2nd Shift:** 2nd Shift- 7:00pm-7:00am*Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** Knowledgeable of and able to perform all the tasks required for a Maintenance Mechanic* Provide own personal hand tools needed to safely perform the job and have a storage box to store* Provide a means of notification/communication during non-working hours for emergencies. Respond to emergency calls within thirty (30) minutes* Ensure shop and surrounding areas are kept clean by the removal of all debris in work areas, workbenches, break rooms, all floors and the same are free of liquids, oils and dirt.* Ensure a safe working environment by elimination of unsafe act/s or condition/s.* *Minimum Education** High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.*Experience Requirements** 7+ years of experience* Reading, writing, communication skills, math, and analytical skills are required.* Must possess knowledge of hydraulic systems, conveyor systems and an aptitude for industrial machinery.* Must have all personal tools at all times and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment.*Experience Preferred**Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** Position is active.
