FTIC is seeking a skilled and motivated *Die Maintenance Team Leader* to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our tooling operations. As a leader in automotive manufacturing, FTIC values precision, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving. If you have hands-on experience in die maintenance and a passion for leading by example, we invite you to apply and help drive our commitment to quality and efficiency.Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** Communicates Department Coordinator's direction to Team Members.* Work closely with department in areas of safety and quality. Ensure programs are maintained, the department complies with standards, and the appropriate training is effectively given to all Team Members.* Assist Team Members in solving work-related problems. Evaluate the issue and consult the Department Manager and/or Human Resources as needed, to determine the most effective resolution.* Inspect and test machinery and equipment.* Install new and repaired parts.* Install and repair dies, electrical apparatus, and equipment.* Disassemble and assemble to design specifications.* Interpret customer prints, engineering specifications, layout results and functional requirements.*Qualifications:** Certification from college or technical school and three (3) years related work experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination or education and experience.*Technical Competencies:** Excellent aptitude of machining and tool making equipment (lathes, end mills, surface grinders, welders, etc.).* Able to read and interpret operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.*Non-Technical Competencies:** Leadership (setting pace, decisiveness, team development, ability to influence, organizational awareness).* People development (assessment of others feedback/coaching, delegation, motivating others, performance management, communicating expectations).* Interpersonal skills (relationship building, teamwork, interpersonal insight, conflict resolution, customer orientation).* Communication (verbal communication, listening, written communication, on-the-job training).* Judgment and thinking (original thinking, judgment and decision-making, problem solving).* Performance skills (accuracy with detail, planning and decision-making, problem solving).* Personal characteristics (motivation/commitment, flexibility, assertiveness, development orientation, resilience, quality orientation).*Environment:*May be exposed to hot and cool conditions, with a moderate to high noise level.*ISO 14001 Environmental Aspects/Impacts:** Basic administrative recycling of paper, plastics, aluminum.* Ensure EMS requirements are being followed by all Team Members in respective areas.Job Type: Full-timePay: $27.14 - $36.46 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Employee discount* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* OvertimeWork Location: In person
