Experienced Pipe Layer

This position performs a variety of tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. This position will also assist other craft workers as necessary.All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.* Excavator Operator (pipe experience)* Loader Operators* Pipe Ditch Laborers*We offer:** Great Pay* Over Time Hours* Retention Bonus* Referral Bonus* Guaranteed 30 hour work week* Full Benefits* On The Job Training*Responsibilities:** Competent in the installation of water & sewer pipelines 8"-48" on grade.* Experience installing different types of pipe including DIP & PVC.* Be able to set up pipe laser and use it to grade ditch.* Experience in proper installation of mechanical joint fitting.* Experience in proper installation of sewer manholes.* Experience using pumps for dewatering as required for proper pipe installation.* Work safely and help promote a safe work environment.* Other duties as assigned.*Qualifications:** 1-2 year of pipe laying experience preferred* Fusion Welding HDPE pipe experience a plus* Ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions* Must have good communication skills and work well in a team environment* Capable of working at a sustained pace and produce quality work* Must be accountable for conduct and have excellent attendance* Ability to have a flexible work schedule, including working overtime as needed*Work Environment:*Work is performed outside in all types of environmental conditions. This position performs strenuous physical activity, for long periods, under varying and adverse field conditions.
