Assistant Video Editor

The Keenan's Kids Foundation is seeking an assistant to the Video Production Manager. Candidates must have experience with digital video editing, video production, audio production, and digital media management. Flexible work hours, however, candidates must be able to work on location at the office currently located in Miramar Beach, FL as well as other local locations. Pay will be based on previous experience.Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.*EDITING:* Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of A/V editing experience using either Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, AVID, or DaVinci. Must have 1 year experience with Adobe Premiere specifically. Experience with Adobe After Effects is preferred.*VIDEO/AUDIO PRODUCTION:* Candidates must be able to use DSLR and Sony Camcorders, they should be familiar with the use of Lavalier microphones and know how to set up lights according to the three-point lighting structure. Should be familiar with basic film concepts. Must be proficient with video hosting sites such as Vimeo and Youtube. Should be interested in Podcasts, specifically how they are produced and marketed.*I.T. ASSISTANT:* Must be familiar with both Mac and PC computers and must be able to troubleshoot issues as they come up. Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite; primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must know the ins and outs of Zoom. Must be proficient with file hosting sites such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. Must be willing to assist any team member with any technical task, no matter how big or small.*MEDIA MANAGEMENT:* Will be responsible for ingesting, downloading, labeling, and organizing all footage. Will be tracking and organizing past video projects in the Video Library.Interested candidates must submit Resume and Cover Letter.Work ethic will be more valuable than experience!
